Bucket List: Travel Dreams and Wanderlust

I love traveling, always have. There's something about it I find really therapeutic and calming, especially when the places I'm traveling through are so aesthetically pleasing (I'm a sucker for a pretty landscape).

Recently, I traveled to Italy by coach and some of the places we drove through were absolutely breathtaking. Seeing all of these gorgeous places well and truly fuelled my already very existent wanderlust (any of you that follow my Pinterest account will know by my extensive travel board).

Here are some places that I NEED to visit before I leave this earth:



1. Switzerland 

As we came closer to the end of the 32-hour long slug of a coach journey to Italy, we drove through the Swiss Alps and some small Swiss towns and I'll tell you something, I've never experienced first hand such beautiful scenery in my life till I drove through this spectacular country. I know technically I've already been to Switzerland because we drove through it and stopped at a couple of service stations but I want to experience more of it! Stay there for a few nights, really enjoy it rather than just looking at it through the window of a bus.




2. Poland

I've always been a bit geeky when it comes to history and some of the historical backgrounds of this country are phenomenal! It's been a dream of mine for a very long time to visit Krakow and Auschwitz to personally experience that aspect of Polish history.




3. Germany

Germany at Christmas time is something I'd love to do! At that time of year, my Instagram is loaded with people visiting all of the beautiful markets in Berlin and Hamburg and it makes me super jealous! Definitely, something I need to do, sooner rather than later.




4. Budapest 

I've had a few friends visit here and come back raving about it and showing me some spectacular pictures! It looks like such a beautiful city that's so rich with culture, certainly somewhere that fuels my wanderlust and my inner foodie because the food looks unbelievable!




5. Prague

I've had my heart set on traveling to Prague for a very, very long time. I often find myself obsessing over photos and travel tips for hours and hours on Pinterest (sad I know) but it is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever laid eyes on and would really love to get there, some day...
