I love changing up my makeup and skincare to suit the seasons, especially when we enter the warmer months. At the beginning of March I began to switch out my heavier coverage foundations for a BB cream and concealer combo to give me a more dewy and reflective base, swapped out my smokier Urban Decay Naked 1 palette for the Naked 3 which is filled with brightening pinks and dug out the most peachy blusher in my makeup collection I could possibly find! Spring is here meaning all bright everything!
1. Rimmel BB Cream
I have always been a heavy and full coverage foundation kind of gal, regardless of the season. The thought of wearing anything less than full coverage on my freckle dominated face made me cringe, as well as it being almost impossible to find tinted moisturiser or BB cream to match my transparent face. BUT, this BB Cream is an absolute game changer, it's nowhere near full coverage but it makes my skin look so fresh and dewy, especially paired with the Collection Lasting Collection concealer.
2. Benefit Browzings
I have a love-hate relationship with my brows, I love having brows that look nice but I hate having to spend way too much time making them look somewhat similar. What can I say, I'm a lazy brow gal so anything that is going to make doing any less of a chore I will love it!
3. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Eyeshadow palettes are the holy grail of makeup for me and when I was gifted this palette for Christmas in 2015 I knew it would become my staple spring go-to very, very quickly! The subtle pinks and purples are perfect for completing your fresh spring look.
4. Bourjois Paris Blush in Love-Struck Rose
Oh my God... this is one of the best drugstore blushers I have ever owned. I've had this product in my makeup collection for an age and I always find myself coming back to it at this time of year. The colour is like a vivid peachy pink with iridescent gold running through it, it's like a blush and highlighter in one little product. Just a tiny bit of this product on the apples of my cheeks instantly makes me look more awake and fresh whilst my face is recovering from the cold winter months.
5. Lanolips Lip Balm in Peach
I love peach scented lip products but this is my fav by far! It's not strictly a lip balm, it's described as a 'multi-purpose' balm but I mainly use it on my lips because it's so nourishing and stops my lips from cracking. It also has a slight tint to it and I feel that this brings my face to life and finishes my spring look. And it tastes amazing!
