I've Set Up A Beauty Bank

Homelessness and poverty is an issue which is often skirted around, especially in the beauty industry. That's why I've decided to set up The Beauty Bank initiative, to help those who really, really need it.

If you're followers of the-pool.com then you'll know that they recently set one up and you'll also know what a beauty bank is. For those of you who don't, a beauty bank works similarly to a food bank. People donate things such as sanitary products, personal care products and cosmetics etc and they will be distributed to those who may not have access to these things.

When I came across what the guys from over at the-pool.com were doing, I thought it would be a good idea to set one up locally and hopefully be able to help someone who needs it.

If you're a fellow blogger, you'll know that sometimes you can be mailed products which aren't necessarily something you'd use, like hair care, cosmetics, and body care products which would otherwise lie about in cupboards or drawers gathering dust. Why not give it to someone who could appreciate it a bit more?

I'm hoping it'll be successful, I've already received quite a few generous donations but I'll be grateful for as many as I can get.
