I'm definitely one of those people who prefer to give gifts than receive them, especially if those gifts are for my family. As Mother's Day is swiftly approaching it can be difficult to know what to get to make your gift perfect, especially if that special lady you're gifting is anything like my mam, deserves an ocean full of diamonds and an all expenses paid trip to New York. But, I have some idea's which might make your shopping struggles a little bit easier, here are my top 3.
1. Luxury Bathing and Skincare.
Most women love to pamper themselves, I know I do, so my go-to gift when I'm stuck and it's too important to buy a card and chocolates. Some of my favorites to go for are The Ordinary, No.7 and Philosophy they're not too pricey but are definitely high quality. If you're looking for a more high-end or luxury product then I would recommend Khiel's or Aesop, they do some phenomenal products. Also, if you're wanting sets the I'd recommend checking out Lush!
2. Candles
Yes, candles. I know, yawn, but if you know where to look and what to buy a candle can make the best and sometimes one of the most thoughtful gifts. Time after time I've gone out and stood sniffing every single Yankee candle under the sun and really struggles to find one which I feel says what I want it to. Don't get me wrong, I love Yankee Candles, my room is littered with them but when you want a gift that really shows some thought and appreciation then my go-to's are candles from The White Company or Diptyque, they're a little bit more expensive but so, so worth it! [Edit: If you're in the US Boy Smells do some amazing ones too!]
3. Perfumes
Every woman has their signature scent. Some like floral, some like musk and some like fruity but whatever they like there's always that one they go back to time and time again. Buying them something you know they already love is an easy, sure-fire way to let them know that you love them. Plus you're showing that you're actually paying attention to what they like.
