If you're like me, you'll love to spend all your free time thinking about all of the stuff you could (should) be doing but instead, you're sat watching Netflix and scrolling through your Insta feed looking at all of the other, more productive, people you follow.
It's okay, I support that decision. In fact, I support it so much I'm giving another 3 shows to add to your "binge watch" list.
1. Queer Eye
Okay, I feel like I was a little bit late to the party with this one but it is just.... wow. If you don't already know what Queer Eye is, it's essentially a makeover show. 5 gay guys visit people who need help with their fashion, lifestyle, eating habits and interior decor and effectively change it all up. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't taken a few of their tips and applied them to my own life. (Living for the French Tuck, thanks Tan!) There are two seasons of seriously addictive and emotional episodes for you to stare at till your heart's content.
2. The Staircase
You can't go wrong with a good ol' gritty true crime doc. I'm only halfway through this one at the moment but as soon as I heard it was similar to Making a Murderer and The Keepers, I was on it like a car bonnet. It documents the trial of Michael Peterson following the death his wife, Kathleen, who 'fell' down the stairs. It's effectively a 'whodunnit' but it's so gripping and deffo worthy of a procrastination binge session.
3. Scream
I've never really been the biggest fan of gore, I'll be the first to admit that. But, the Netflix series of Scream has been one of my favourites for a good year now. Although it's pretty gory, the plot makes it so difficult to switch off. I must have watched the first two seasons about 4 times and I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the third. It pays homage to the classic films but the plot and the way it breaks the 4th wall is something I've never seen before. It follows teenager Emma Duvall and her friends through the trials set before them by a killer linked to her family's past and it is thrilling from start to finish. 10/10 would watch again.
*BONUS*
4. Evil Genius
Omg, so, I got halfway through writing about The Staircase and remembered this absolute gem of a show! It's another true crime doc but I swear it is amazing. A wild rollercoaster of plot twists to leave you #shook. I couldn't even attempt to explain to you the premise of it so you'll just have to trust me and the years of bing watching experience I have under my belt.
