But since the Summer has arrived and it's been hella hot, I've been more inclined to getting my limbs out. AND there's a so many events like weddings coming up, so I don't really want to be walking about looking like I've just been dug up when I'm stood next to all of the other suitably bronzed bodies.
So, I spent weeks on the hunt for the perfect self tanner. One that wasn't an alarming terracotta colour when it was pumped onto the mit and wouldn't make me look like an umpa-loompa immediately after applying! I tried and tested a couple on the gradual and 'in shower' tanners which, to be honest, did nothing for me execept leaving a couple of orangey coloured patches on the backs of my legs...
After this stint of shopping and testing I was reccomended the brand Vita Liberata by a freind, who is an experienced self-tanner, and OH MY GOD not only is their range extensive, it has some of the most incredible self tanning products I've ever seen (tbh that's not hard since I never really used false tan products lol).
I opted for the new Invisi Foaming Tan Water formula in Light to Medium, because it seemed less daunting and more 'beginner friendly' than going all in with an instant tan mousse. And I'll tell you what, I was not dissappointed! It took a couple of hours to develop but the colour looks so natural and it's pretty damn even, which is suprising since 1.) it's a clear product so you can't really see where you're putting it. And 2.) I've never applied false tan that wasn't a moistuiser before this occaision.
Honestly though, I couldn't fault it. The application was smooth and straight forward and the colour was a perfect match. My skin looks so healthy and sun kissed! 10/10 would recommend.
