I've always been a lover of reading, but not always been able to find the time to commit myself to reading properly. As part of my resolution to 'make 2018 my 'selfish' year', I've started setting aside time for me to kick back and enjoy reading for a few hours before I go to sleep. I've found that not only do I look forward to bedtime more (as if that was possible) it helps me wind down and I sleep better.
I keep my top three books that I want to read on my bedside table so that they're just there for me to grab when I'm ready to wind down. The one I'm currently stuck into is 'The Working Woman's Handbook' by Pheobe Lovatt and I'm loving it! It's full of helpful hints and tips when it comes to working for yourself (something which I would love to do) and it is one of the reasons I was re-inspired to get back into blogging and writing. I'm thinking I might do a full review of it when I'm finished so please leave a comment if it's something you'd like to read.
The next two I'm planning to read is 'Note To Self' by Connor Franta and 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' by Mark Haddon which I already read a couple of years ago but I just loved it so much I needed to read it again!
If you have any other suggestions for books that you're loving and think are a must read then feel free to leave a comment!
